The Blame Game

The only things we know about Benghazi: there were too many people involved, too many motivations for the attack, too many conflicting stories after the attack, and too little indisputable evidence about the exact course of events. Sept 11th 2012, the American embassy and CIA annex building in Benghazi Libya were invaded in a planned attack against America. It is the job of the Secretary of State and the State Department to manage the country's foreign affairs, including protecting our diplomats. At the time the Secretary of State was Hillary Clinton who was appointed by President Obama. On the anniversary of Sept 11th one would think that America would have been on guard and ready for any such attacks. State Department employees at the Benghazi compound knew they were in a death trap and reportedly asked for help many times, help that never came. Instead four Americans were killed including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. For three weeks after the incident the Obama Administration lied about the attack, and instead blamed the attack on an anti Muslim, YouTube video that was circulating the Internet. The video called "Innocence of Muslims" was a parody about the religion Islam's founder and prophet Muhammad. This video was publicly blamed obviously to shield the President and his cabinet members from criticism of protecting the Embassy. So why did the Obama Administration lie about the attack to the public? 16 months later we continue to hear bits of information and rumors. At this time we were weeks away from the re-election of President Obama, and Benghazi would have only highlighted his growing incompetence. We don't actually expect politicians to be honest around election time do we? There is much more to this story than meets the eye. If all of this wasn't bad enough, it turns out the CIA had operatives on the ground in Benghazi that night. Since Jan 2013, some CIA operatives involved in the agency's missions in Libya  have been subjected to frequent, even monthly polygraph examinations, according to a source with deep inside knowledge of the agency's working. It is being described as pure intimidation, with the threat that any unauthorized CIA employee who leaks information could face the end of his or her careers. Whatever the truth is, I guarantee the American people and the victums families will not rest until we get to the bottom it.-BDB
