Obamacare- 2

    This is a follow up to my first entry about Obamacare. I will explain more about the new law and do my best at raising awareness. For me, the red flags went up as soon as congress voted to exempt themselves from the very law they passed. To not only themselves, but also their staff and their families. How nice! Do they know something that we don't? This country thrived because of competition and the free market of ideas. Small business and entrepreneurs drove the economy. We have now turned from what made us great, and are now getting frighteningly close to having a whole generation fully dependent on  government. History has proved this to be disastrous. Let me say also, I don't oppose Obamacare because of him personally, I oppose Obamacare simply because I don't want the government running my health care. This law will undoubtedly force more government down our throats. This is the opposite of what America was founded on. We should all have the right to choose our own coverage options and treatments. This is the heart of liberty.
     As you get ready for the corrupt I.R.S to start monitoring your health care insurance, go ahead and clean your house too. This is to prepare for Obamacare which will include "forced" home visits for many citizens, maybe even everyone. Health and Human Service's website states that your family will be targeted if you fall under the ‘high-risk’ categories below: Families where mom is not yet 21. Families where someone is a tobacco user. Families where children have low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities. Families with individuals who are serving or formerly served in the armed forces, including such families that have members of the armed forced who have had multiple deployments outside the United States,”. Sounds like fun!

  When President Obama was campaigning for his second term, he promised us that we could keep our current health care coverage if we were happy, this turns out to be false. Millions of employers nation wide are dropping coverage for employees and their spouses. Small businesses are finding that it is cheaper to drop coverage than to insure the employees under Obamacare. Big businesses, oh yeah.....they are exempt too! It turns out President Obama has granted special waivers to- himself & his family, D.O.J & families, Supreme Court & families, Federal judges & families and about 1,200 corporations and unions, How nice! Obamacare will also force millions of people onto health care plan, without increasing the number of doctors. This will create doctor shortages nation wide.         Amongst the many problems, the biggest one seems to be rising health care costs. Premiums and deductibles are doubling across the country. The reason for this is because all current plans must abide by the standard of Obamacare. Many plans are forced to upgrade the provided care at the patients cost. The patient has no control as they watch costs soar. Probably the most controversial aspect of the new law, is the public funded abortions and birth control. One of the principles that defines America is religious liberty. We have never been forced to purchase anything that either violates our conscience or conflicts with our religious view. With Obamacare, this all changes. You will now help pay for abortions and birth control for strangers. The last thing I will mention is the unemployment rate. Obamacare will not help this at all. Small business are being forced to stop hiring new employees to stay under the 50 mark. Obamacare actually incentivizes businesses to STOP hiring new employees.
This is what we can look forward to Oct 1st.
DO we need a health care reform? Yes, but socialism is not the answer.
